DIRECTIONS: 1452 South Pasadena Ave.  (Wendy's address)
Take Central Ave. west to S. Pasadena Ave. (toward the beaches, past 66th St.).  Turn left
on S. Pasadena Ave.  Go to HUFFMAN WAY (across from Palms of Pasadena Hospital, the
next traffic light after "WENDY'S"). There is no left-turn lane, if traffic is heavy,
you can use the U-turn lane about 200 feet farther.
Drive between "International Medical Laboratories" & "Shamrock Dental Services".
You will see sailboat masts ahead.  Drive into the marina, follow road to right.
Boat is near far end, slip 6IA.
(This is a live-aboard marina with many residents.
Please try not to disturb their morning.  My engines are noisy enough!)
Short cut:
Pull into "WENDY'S", drive across back-lot of "International Medical Laboratories".
Head for the big gray wall.  See "PASADENA MARINA" sign on your left.
Turn in and drive down the gravel road

If you are late, I will wait!   Just call me.   727 808-6729

Viet Nam veteran (USMC).  Easy-going Cajun.  In my culture, when you are old enough to walk, you're going fishing!  My ancestors have been
fishing the Gulf of Mexico for over 200 years.  I'm happy when you're reeling away at something that would rather stay in the sea.  Former
utility-boat captain in the Louisiana offshore oil-fields, navigator for LORAC Services Corp, captain for TransWorldServices.  I have been looking at
water most of my life (except for a brief time in the jungle; grunt in 2nd. battalion, 4th marines).  I offer a relaxed affordable day on the water for
those who need a day of no stress on a laid-back & personal fishing trip.  Most of my regulars are retirees.  Member,  Disabled American Veterans

An interesting site by a local sailor,

novel is one that you won't be able
to put down 'till you finish it.
One of the differences between me
and my cat is that he knows all that
he needs to know.   And if he REALLY
needs to know something else, he
tends to learn it a lot faster.

"CAJUN" is a gov't surplus ex-navy "Admirals' Barge" personnel carrier. I bought her from
the gov't totally stripped.  I transferred 2 diesel engines from my old wood boat, installed
new reduction gears (transmissions), all electronics, hydraulic steering, autopilot, all
electrics, fuel tanks, windshield, overhead, DC and AC electrical systems, etc. myself.
$0 labor costs.   Fuel consumption is always under 20 gallons/day of diesel.
Cosmetically, she is still a work in progress.

It is with profound sadness, that I must notify all who have enjoyed
Captain Bob's charters in the past, of his recent passing. All who
knew him loved his quiet, kind, and very often, humorous demeanor.
This boat (CAJUN), and the people that enjoyed riding on her were
a great source of joy to him. He knew his life was ending, but wanted
Cajun to keep making more friends. I, (Captain Ed) had worked with,
and been a friend of Bob's in the past. We shared many similar
outlooks on life and that may be why he asked me to take over the
command, and continue on. We all miss you Robert Ponthieux!
